    CSC923

The CSC923 full-range screen channel loudspeaker system brings 3-way design to the largest cinema exhibition spaces. This system provides extremely high output and must be powered by a minimum of three amplifier channels (tri-amplification).
The CSC923 has been approved by the THX® division of Lucasfilm, Ltd., for use in THX- certified theaters.
The four component system includes 4x 15-in woofers in a “push/pull” configuration, one horn-loaded 10-in mid frequency cone and a horn-loaded 2-in exit high frequency compression driver.
The CSC923 combines many of EAW’s breakthrough technologies including a unique asymmetrical design mid/bass horn with EAW’s patented VA4 phase plug, “push/pull” low frequency technology and an asymmetrical high frequency horn.
The “push/pull” configuration of the LF section reduces mechanically induced distortion at high output levels. To move air “forward” (away from the enclosure) half of the woofers push while the other half pull.
The CSC923’s MF horn with VA4 phase plug drastically reduces the horn-throat cancellation distortion that degrades the naturalness and intelligibility of dialog. By dividing the mid/high material between two horn-loaded subsystems, pattern control over the entire frequency range is enhanced.
The HF element features a 2-in exit compression driver loaded with a two-dimensional asymmetric HF horn ensuring even distribution of HF information throughout the auditorium.

The CSC923X contains an internal passive MF/HF crossover allowing for bi-amplified operation.

    CSC723

The CSC723 full-range screen channel loudspeaker system is a scaled-down version of the CSC923 for large cinema exhibition spaces. This system provides high output and must be powered by three amplifier channels (tri-amplification).
The three component system includes 2x 15-in woofers in a “push/pull” configuration, one horn-loaded 10-in mid frequency cone and a horn-loaded 2-in exit high frequency compression driver.

    CSC523M

The CB523M full-range screen channel loudspeaker system offers medium-sized theaters cost-effective access to the benefits of 3-way loudspeaker design. This tri-amplified system has been approved by the THX® division of Lucasfilm, Ltd., for use in THX-certified theaters.
The two component system includes a BV253C dual 15-in low frequency enclosure and an HK523M mid/high section.
The low frequency enclosure uses optimally tuned enclosure venting to increase LF response while limiting driver excursion. The enclosure’s shallow dimension allows convenient placement behind the screen.
The HK523M mid/high section features a horn-loaded 10-in cone and a high power 1.4-in exit compression driver loaded with a 90° x 45° coverage pattern constant directivity horn.

The CB523MX featuresabiamplifiedpoweringoption.Usingapassivemid/high design lets it replace existing bi-amped two-way systems without requiring new electronic crossovers or amplifiers (electronic crossovers may require adjustment).

    CB423M

The CB423M offers small- to medium-sized theaters the same high output mid/high performance as the CB523M, but with a single 15-in low frequency section. This tri-amplified system has been approved by the THX® division of Lucasfilm, Ltd., for use in THX-certified theaters.

    CB153

The CB153 full-range screen channel loudspeaker system offers small theaters cost-effective access to the benefits of 3-way loudspeaker design. Its passive mid/high bi-amplified design lets it replace existing bi-amped two-way systems without requiring new electronic crossovers or amplifiers (electronic crossovers settings may need to be adjusted).
The two component system consists of a BV154C low frequency enclosure and an HK153 passive mid/high system.
The HK153 features an 8-in MF cone transducer and a 1-in exit high frequency compression driver loaded with EAW’s patented WGP® waveguide.
The BV154C’s optimally vented enclosure uses the enclosure’s resonance to increase LF response while limiting driver excursion.
Its asymmetrical enclosure design smooths response in the LF component’s upper register and minimizes the potential for standing waves inside the enclosure. Left and right side enclosures can be placed flush to a back wall while still directing their output to the audience area. The enclosure can be inverted to provide a right or left-handed angle.
